This Bath Pulls Toxins Out Of The Body, Improves Muscle And Nerve Functions, Reduces Inflammation And Improves Blood Flow!

Typically, a detox bath is made with Epsom salt which not only draws out toxins, but has a wide range of health benefits and will improve your overall health.

Well, Epsom salt bath is great but to make your detox bath even more powerful and more beneficial, we found an exciting salt bath combination: Epsom salt along with Himalayan salt! These two miraculous salts can offer a long list of health benefits and can treat various health issues. The best thing about them is that they are inexpensive, effective, completely safe, and with no side effects!

Epsom Salt

Epsom salt is a mineral compound found in water containing high levels of sulfate and magnesium. It is called a “salt” because it looks like salt crystals. When buying your Epsom salt, you should be very cautious because there are different grades of Epsom salt – for personal care, agricultural and food grade.

It is well known that the skin is the largest detoxification organ. When taking an Epsom salt bath, the two minerals (magnesium and sulfate) work together in order to eliminate the toxins out of the body through the skin. Moreover, these two minerals are absorbed into the skin to improve the body’s levels of magnesium and sulfate. A number of studies showed an increase in magnesium level from soaking in an Epsom salt bath, without having any side effects!

Himalayan Salt

Himalayan salt is undoubtedly one of the oldest, purest, and uncontaminated salts on the planet. Like any other natural salt, Himalayan salt offers a wide range of naturally-occurring minerals essential for our body. By adding this incredible salt to your bath you will feel like you are soaking in an ocean of energy. When taking this bath, the salts and minerals that are released into the water can be absorbed through your skin.

Health Benefits of Salt Bath

Even though they have different mineral contents, both Epsom and Himalayan salts offer almost the same benefits when used in a salt bath.

  • Reduces the acidity and helps balance the pH levels in the body
  • Accelerates healing of swelling, bruising, small cuts, torn or strained ligaments and muscles
  • Relieves premenstruation symptoms (migraines, bloating, cramps)
  • Increases blood circulation
  • Improves respiratory health
  • Soothes sunburn and insect bites
  • Relaxes muscles, reduces stress, and promotes a better night’s sleep
  • It possesses potent antiseptic properties and can treat skin conditions including eczema, acne, rashes, psoriasis, and dry skin
  • Eliminates toxins through the skin
  • Cleanses, purifies and nourishes you body with essential minerals
  • Relieves muscle cramps and arthritic joint pains

How to take a super detox salt bath

According to Dr David Jockers, the amount of the salt should be determined by the person’s weight. The amount below is for a standard size bathtub that will probably hold 25-30 gallons of water.

Measurement for Epsom salt:

  • Children under 60 lbs: ½ cup
  • Individuals between 60-100 lbs: 1 cup
  • Individuals between 100-150 lbs: 1½ cups
  • Individuals between 150-200 lbs: 2 cups

For every 50 lb more—add an additional ½ cup of salts

While taking this bath, you can add only Epsom salt or together with Himalayan salt. If you have no detox experience and you are doing this for the first time, it is recommended to start only with Epsom salt. The next time you are doing it, you can add Himalayan salt as well.

Important To Note:

Here’s what you need to do, and take note before you start your super detox salt bath:

Do not take this bath if you are pregnant, have open wounds or burns, or have cardiovascular disease (unless under your healthcare practitioner’s supervision). If you are on long-term medication, check with your doctor before performing any kind of detox.

Depending on your health, after the salt bath, you may notice that the water change into a milky color due to the toxins being drawn out from your body. For some, the water may even be a brownish tint especially if they are smokers, or are regularly exposed to industrial toxins.

How often can you take this salt bath? I would say once to three times a week the most, if you really enjoy it.
