CRISTINA rubinetterie at the International Bathroom Exhibition

14/03/2014 - CRISTINA rubinetterie, the Italian leader in the field of plumbing fixtures, this year will be exhibiting at Salone Internazionale del Bagno (pav. 22, Stand B23-B27) and will present the new line Beak, the latest series of bathroom taps created by the designer Claudia Danelon Meroni; the series Delta and the Dynamo Shower, the innovative head shower with fully self-powered LED lighting.

Beak Series. Simple shapes and delicate surfaces characterise the design of this new line of bathroom taps, where 'sweet minimalism' represents the spirit of a stylistic choice with a unique personality.Inspirations from Japanese and Scandinavian design blend in with the search for an innovative combination of volumes and proportions that reinterprets with naturalness the archetype of the faucet. The focus of the design is the connection between the body and the spout of the tap, harmonically linked by symmetrical, curved surfaces.

The horizontal element is indeed a gradual extension of the vertical cylindrical body. The profile of the single-lever basin mixer is inspired by the shape of the swan. Hence the name of the collection, 'Beak'. All products in the collection are characterised by controlled fusion between organic and pure geometry. This principle determines not only the overall proportions of the products, but also the details, such as the sleek line of the lever that helps balance the sculptural body of the tap.

Delta Series. Balanced proportions enhance one of the latest CRISTINA rubinetterie creations for a modern, functional, essential and timeless bathroom. The body and spout are fused into a single piece, creating an elegant artwork that brings a touch of sophistication to any bathroom. Both new series are designed to meet water saving requirements, a MUST for CRISTINA rubinetterie. Washbasin and bidet mixers of both lines are equipped with a 25 mm diameter cartridge and with an aerator flow reducer that limits water flow to 8 litres/min.

Dynamo Shower, the shower head with fully self powered LED lighting is the latest product by CRISTINA rubinetterie dedicated to wellness and relaxation with a green heart. It is completely environmentally friendly, as it does not consume electric power. The flow of water through a turbine placed inside the shower head creates and provides enough power for the LED lighting. The innovative shape gives the shower environment an extremely refined and relaxed aesthetic dimension. The matt white or matt black finish adds an even more scenic visual effect when mounted on the ceiling or on the wall. It is easy to use and install. It can be installed as a standard shower head, and therefore it can also be fitted into existing shower systems.

Inox.The KX530 kitchen mixer stands out from CRISTINA’s rich range of stainless steel models. Synthesis of linearity, aesthetics and functionality, the KK525 mixer stands out for its unique rectangular profile which creates a stark contrast with the round body. Others, such as the KK551 and KT541 models are characterised by soft lines. What’s more, the KT541 mixer comes with the Clean Water feature, an internal pipe made of a food safe compound for purified water.
