French Country House Tour


Ready for another Dreamy Dwelling Home Tour!?!  I’ve been excited to share this house with you all week!  You are totally going to fall in love!!!  It won’t take you long to figure out why I’m obsessed with this charming French Country House Tour.  Featured in Veranda, this home is exquisite!

From the front porch and throughout, this home is perfection in every single detail!  Be sure to take notice of the herringbone patterned hardwood floors.

Isn’t that bannister just lovely!!!  And the entry way chandelier frames the white washed foyer table and mirror perfectly.

Of course I love the curtains, reminds me of my home.  Although my gray owl painted walls offer a bit more contrast.  As much as I love my paint color, the white paint in this room is gorgeous!

And just beyond the formal living room, the formal dining room is gorgeous.  I love the fiddle fig plant in a box with the soil covered with moss.  The chairs are beautiful, the hutch with stacked white dishes is perfect.  And I haven’t even mentioned the decor above the fireplace.  Oh. my. gosh.  LOVE!  I have a thing for plate collections.  These white plates framed by beautiful iron and crystal sconces is fabulous!

The dining room has a vaulted ceiling and an 18th century stone mantle around the fireplace.   And I’m loving the symmetrical classic lead windows on either side.

I’m loving the stone choices for the pool.  The exterior of the home in so neutral, it makes a great backdrop for all the green foliage and purple hydrangeas!

Advocates for victims of human trafficking are urging Central Oregon businesses to post information about how to escape in their bathroom stalls before the total solar eclipse later this month. The eclipse, which is expected to bring hundreds of thousands of people to Central Oregon , could result in more cases of people being bought or sold for sex, said Nita Belles, executive director of the anti- trafficking organization In Our Backyard. “We know with the increase in population and the party atmosphere surrounding the eclipse, there will be an increase in human trafficking,” Belles said. Her organization produces “ Freedom Stickers ,” which contain instructions for how to contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline and say, in both English and Spanish, “People are not property.
