CENTRAL ISLIP, NY -- Italian fine artist Pamela Ferrari has brought her free-flowing, painterly hand to Creative Bath Products, for which she will design several collections of shower curtains, towels and accessories, debuting this market.

"She has the most refreshing view from a design standpoint," said Rick Lipton, national sales manager. Retailers feel the same way, telling Creative during previews that her designs are "fresh and clean -- not something in the market today," he said. "The response has been overwhelming."

Born in Buffalo, NY, Ferrari has lived in Florence, Italy, for many years, and this represents her first full-fledged effort in designing for the home. …
