For $11M, an extravagant Soho penthouse with outdoor shower, roof cabana

There’s a lot going on with this triplex penthouse in Soho, asking a cool $10.995 million. It’s pretty big—more than 3,700 square feet—and has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a bevy of over-the-top amenities that you’d expect from an $11 million apartment that’s described as “triple mint” and a “modern masterpiece.”

Here’s a short list: floor-to-ceiling windows, a gas fireplace, 14-foot ceilings, radiant heated floors, two terraces, a master suite with “expansive custom dressing room,” a library, a bar with “extensive” wine storage, a built-in projection screen, and—most importantly/ridiculously of all—a roof deck with “multiple seating areas, outdoor kitchen/bar, cabana, outdoor TV & shower.” Phew.

It’s not the first time an extravagant penthouse—boasting similar features, even—has hit the market; its next-door neighbor was for sale back in 2014, asking $9 million. (Alas, PHW doesn’t have one feature that set the other unit apart: a treehouse on the roof.) It doesn’t appear to have changed hands, so time will tell if the owners of this penthouse can find a buyer.
