Are you getting strange 'surging' or vibration noises? Are you is a hard water area like 60-65% of the UK? Solution: Simply change the cartridge, not the whole tap or shower! Specification & Features: Principally made from brass, this generic Thermostatic Cartridge is suitable for many manufacturers, and some of the types of Taps/Valves that we sell are shown in the Picture gallery above. The Control handle is from our 057U & 057UD Series.The operating Temperature range is between 20 to 48 Degrees C, with safety override button at the 38 Degrees C position. The cartridge comes calibrated to 38 Degrees C with the handle and safety 'stop ring' already attached.To install it with a Bath Mixer Tap or Torpedo style Bar Shower valves, all you have to do is remove the grub screw on the body underneath (3mm Allen key is commonly required) and push it into place. With the concealed shower valves, the handle has to be removed and then the cartridge fitted separately. Lubrication may well be needed around the black rubber seals. Always ensure your water is off when fitting!!It can also be used to replace some older style cartridges (see gallery picture).Dimensions: Total Length of Cartridge (without the handle attached) is approx. 94mm. The widest section is some 33mm diameter (round the thicker brass section where the grub screw hole is located). The base of cartridge to centre of Grub screw hole is some 60mm. The 3 Black rubber washers are positioned at approx 7mm, 27mm and 47mm from the centre of the grub screw hole.The end cap prises off to reveal the grub screw that secures the handle to the spindle on the cartridge. Advocates for victims of human trafficking are urging Central Oregon businesses to post information about how to escape in their bathroom stalls before the total solar eclipse later this month. The eclipse, which is expected to bring hundreds of thousands of people to Central Oregon , could result in more cases of people being bought or sold for sex, said Nita Belles, executive director of the anti- trafficking organization In Our Backyard. “We know with the increase in population and the party atmosphere surrounding the eclipse, there will be an increase in human trafficking,” Belles said. Her organization produces “ Freedom Stickers ,” which contain instructions for how to contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline and say, in both English and Spanish, “People are not property.
