HOTELS IN BORACAY: The Tides Hotel Boracay, "Great Location, Exceptional Rooms and Excellent Customer Service!"

Most of the time, we travel to relax, unwind and to escape form our usual day-to-day activities. Finding an awesome accommodation that will leave a lasting memory is quite a challenge and seldom hard to find. Good thing I found "The Tides Hotel" on Boracay island. Being a budget traveler, it's quite an experience to stay in a classy accommodation such as The Tides Hotel Boracay. I love its stylish, top-notch and classy atmosphere, a much-needed rest from my usual budget accommodation routine.

The world's famous island of Boracay has a lot of accommodation options to offer. So many, it will make choosing the best accommodation so hard to do. Be it a high-end resort, a mid-range hotel or a backpacker's hostel; I'm sure, find one that will suit your needs.

Located at the heart of D Mall along station 2, The Tides Hotel Boracay is a uniquely themed boutique hotel that offers exceptional, personalized and world-class amenities and services. It offers its guests with easy access to the pristine white sands and clear azure waters of Boracay's famous beachfront as well as to the island's bars, restaurants and other business and commercial establishments.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and assisted us with our luggage, gave us cold towels and welcome drinks. Checking-in was a breeze; it only took us about 5 minutes and we were given the key cards to our room located at the 2nd floor.

The room that was given to us is a spectacular Essential Room. I was speechless when I entered the room! It has two queen-sized beds that are soft and comfortable, plus the huge fluffy pillows, blankets and comforters that compliment it. I quickly tried it and I felt like I was melting into the bed as I lay my tired back due to the long travel from Roxas City. It was quite relaxing!

Other room amenities include efficient and silent Air-conditioning unit, an en suite toilet and bath with luxurious bathroom fixtures and amenities, an LCD TV with cable channels, a closet, an in-room safety deposit box, luggage rack, clothes hanging rack, a personal refrigerator filled with drinks and a working desk. For this type of room, you may choose between two (2) queen sized beds or one (1) king sized bed.

The toilet and bath are separated from each other. My jaw dropped when I saw how lovely it is. There's a bath tub, hot and cold rain shower with excellent water pressure, water closet with bidet and a sink with a mirror. This is definitely a haven for those who spend a lot of time in the bathroom.

Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, shower gel, body lotion and dental care kits were all provided. What else can I ask for?! Clean and fresh bath towels were also provided. Yeah, this is luxury beyond my expectations. And I'm very happy with it!

Our room is indeed spacious and has all the much-needed amenities. Everything is clean, fresh and well-organized! It is thoughtfully decorated and feels comfortable as it is minimally-designed and well-organized, which I like. With all these amenities, I will not wonder if you end up just staying inside your room. Hahaha!

SWIMMING POOL AND SOLSTICE SUN LOUNGE AT THE ROOF DECK

Perfect for that unique and exceptional Boracay experience, The Tides Hotel has a Sun Deck Bar and Café named Solstice Sun Loungelocated the the 4th floor. It features a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, lounges, cabanas and full service bar and kitchen that caters to the guests' needs for an awesome and comfortable stay.

The swimming pool is so nice and kept very clean. It has day beds scattered around and outdoor cabanas with dining tables where you could eat while enjoying the pool. This is the perfect spot to relax, read a book and enjoy the hotel's tropical surroundings while savoring your vacation.

This is also a perfect spot to watch the sunset from a different perspective and away from the crowd. I love it!

BREAKFAST AT KAON RESTAURANT

Each booking comes with a complimentary buffet breakfast served at Kaon Restaurant located near the pool. There are different meat, fish,chicken and vegetables dishes to choose from. There's also a variety of pastries and fresh fruits for desserts.

The viands change each day, so even if you're staying for more than 1 night (just like us), you won't get bored with their breakfast because there's always something new to looking forward to each day. The food are good and we were really full every time we leave the restaurant. Sumptuous meal every morning! A great way to start our day!

SURRENDER DAY SPA

Located at the roof deck is the hotel's spa called Surrender Day Spa. Designed for guests and visitors seeking for ultimate tranquility, wellness and rejuvenation experience, the Spa offers relaxing and quality massage with a high commitment to customer service from their professionally-trained therapists.

We had a complimentary 15-minute back massage which we truly enjoyed. Their therapists are well-trained and go beyond an extra mile of providing excellent service to their clients. This is indeed a perfect place to treat and pamper yourself after a day of enjoying the activities and exploring the island.

THE FITNESS CENTER

The hotel also has a fitness gym located at the 2nd floor. It is open to guests and non guests who wish to lift some weights or run in the treadmill while on their vacation. It is open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily.

WIFI INTERNET CONNECTION

WIFI internet connection is available anywhere in the hotel. Connection is fast and reliable. There are also some computers located near the lobby that guests can use for free.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES

Their in-house restaurant called Kaon Restaurant serves an array of Filipino inspired dishes. They are open from 6:00 AM to 12:00 MN daily catering to guests and non guests. We got to try some of their dishes. If you want to know what we had, it's here.

You may check their website at www.tidesboracay.com for the updated room rates. Standard check-in time is at 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 noon. They have 2 room types, Essential (Superior) and Exceptional (Premier) Rooms. Guests may choose either two (2) twin sized beds, one (1) queen sized bed, or one (1) king sized bed configuration.

Aside from the powdery white sand beach of Boracay, the island is a place to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The Tides Hotel Boracay's superb accommodation, excellent customer service and first-rate facilities and services will certainly take every guest into a totally unique and memorable accommodation experience that everyone deserves.

Their awesome, cheerful, dependable and genuinely accommodating staff are truly commendable and will assure you of a hassle-free stay. Definitely, The Tides Hotel Boracay is one of the finest hotels on Boracay Island.

We truly enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend it for you to stay in when visiting Boracay. I'm giving it my two thumbs up!
