Temporary bath tub shower adapter

We are beginning the process of renovating the 1968 bathrooms in our recently purchased rancher. While the bathroom with a shower is being gutted, we will need to use our other bathroom, which unfortunately, has only a tub and not a shower. I'm having difficulty finding a bathtub shower adapter that will fit this setup, at least one that appears to be truly functional, and is preferably not hand held but instead can be mounted. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
