My Experience with Shea Moisture Sacha Inchi Oil Omega-3-6-9 Rescue Bubble Bath and Body Wash:

Packaging:  I like the push top “no mess” bottle. Since the consistency of this body wash is quite watery, this type of packaging is ideal.

Consistency/ Performance:  This body wash is quite watery. I find I need a lot of product for it to lather, but it does work better with a loofah rather than by itself. It does clean my skin effectively but I don’t find it to be hydrating enough that I can skip my body lotion after shower but it does not leave my skin overly dry either. I love the fact that most of the products from this brand are paraben free and sulfate free.

Fragrance:  The main reason I got this product (actually I bought the everything that was offered of this particular “Sacha Inchi” range) just because of the scent. It is quite a unique scent and may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I can’t have enough of it. It has a moderately “manly” musky earthy scent which has me feeling like I just came out from a forest. Even though I describe it as “manly,” I think the scent smells nice on a woman too.

Overall, I like this product mainly for the scent and also because all the list of great ingredients. I am unsure if I will repurchase this as I do like trying new things.

  • Cleans effectively.
  • Smells nice.
  • Does not strip the skin.
  • Gentle on skin.

Cons of Shea Moisture Sacha Inchi Oil Omega-3-6-9 Rescue Bubble Bath and Body Wash:

  •  Does not lather well unless you use a whole lot or a loofah.
  • Scent does not linger for long.
  • Not hydrating on its own, I cannot skip lotion after shower.
