NEW SCENTS FOR NEUTROGENA'S BATH GEL
American skincare label Neutrogena has introduced two new scents to its best-selling Rainbath Shower and Bath Gel range.
The new fragrances - Pear & Green Tea and Ocean Mist - are inspired by the rainforest and the tropical ocean respectively.
Each attempts to whisk the user away to his favourite holiday destination while cleansing the skin without leaving any residue.
The label suggests using the product as a shaving gel as well.
The new scents ($17.90 for 473ml) will be available at Guardian, Watsons, Cold Storage, Market Place and selected FairPrice outlets from next Thursday.
LIMITED-EDITION HAND CREAMS FROM CRABTREE & EVELYN
Give your hands and cuticles a moisture boost with new limited- edition hand creams from Crabtree & Evelyn.
The English beauty and lifestyle label will be adding three new scents, inspired by English gardens, to its popular Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy range. Each new fragrance is a blend of fruity, refreshing and musky notes.
Fresh Water Garden mixes zesty notes of grapefruit, lime and mint with the richer tones of sandalwood and white musk.
Aromatic Orangery is infused with floral and citrus notes, including white orchid, lotus flower, clementine and mandarin kumquat.
Orchard In Bloom (above) combines crisp tones of orange and plum with smoother notes of jasmine, cedarwood and praline.
Each cream is formulated with shea butter and hyaluronic acid - a combination the label claims will leave the skin soft and supple.
The products also contain myrrh extract and vitamins C and E complex. According to the label, these will nourish the nails and protect the skin from free radicals which can cause ageing.
The three limited-edition creams ($13 for 25g) will be available at all Crabtree & Evelyn stores from next Thursday.
BRIGHT EYES WITH SK-II EYE CREAM
Japanese label SK-II has released an eye cream it claims will give users bigger and brighter eyes.
The label says a 15-year study found that eyes become smaller with age due to the lack of firmness around them.
To combat this, its new anti-ageing R.N.A.Power Eye Cream is said to be able to help decrease wrinkles by firming up and smoothening the skin around the eyes, causing the eyes to appear larger and brighter.
The effects, says the label, will be seen only after six weeks of continuous use. The eye cream ($149) is available at SK-II counters.
